A pungent take on the classic sour, this drink evokes a chilly evening in the Scottish Highlands.
2 ounces blended Scotch whisky
3/4 ounce lemon juice
3/4 ounce ginger syrup
1/4 ounce single malt whisky
lemon or ginger slice for garnish
Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker and fill with ice. Shake well, and strain into hurricane or other tall glass. Fill with crushed ice. Garnish with fruit.
