This classic drink appears in a wide variety of forms. We enjoyed this version in the historic Havana bar, Sloppy Joe’s.
2 ounces white rum
1 ounce extra-dry vermouth
1/2 ounce triple sec or cointreau
1/4 ounce grenadine
orange twist
Combine ingredients mixing glass and fill with ice. Stir thoroughly and strain into martini glass. Garnish with orange twist.
