Devil’s Soul


Mezcal isn’t the main ingredient here, but it dominates, adding a delicious smoky flavour to this hefty cocktail.
 

          1 ounce rye whiskey
          3/4 ounce mezcal
          3/4 ounce amaro
          1/4 ounce Aperol
          1/4 ounce Saint-Germain
          orange peel for garnish
         

Combine ingredients in a mixing glass and stir with ice until chilled. Strain into a cocktail glass, and garnish with orange peel twist.
