Gimlet


Simple, stylish, and zingy.

          1 1/2  ounces London Dry gin (or similar style)
          1/2 ounce lime juice
          1/2 ounce simple syrup
          lime wedge

Combine ingredients in a stirring glass and fill with ice. Stir thoroughly, strain into coupe glass, and top with lime wedge. 

For a spicy alternative, replace simple syrup with ginger syrup, and add a basil leaf to the garnish.
