New York Sour


A rich, wintery version of a whiskey sour. 
  

          2 ounces bourbon
          3/4 ounce lemon juice
          3/4 ounce simple syrup
          1/2 ounce red wine
          lemon peel twist

Place bourbon, lemon juice, and simple syrup in a shaker and fill with ice. Shake vigorously and strain into an old fashioned glass over ice. Float red wine on top and slide in lemon peel twist.
