Old Caribbean


The flavours of the Caribbean in an exotic take on the Old Fashioned.
  

          2 ounces dark or medium-dark rum
          1/2 ounce cream of coconut
          1 tsp water
          3-4 dashes Angostura bitters
          lime wedge

Stir the syrup, bitters, and water in a mixing glass. Add rum and fill with ice; stir thoroughly. Strain into short glass over ice, and garnish with lime wedge.
